Both Rob Meyers and Mark Tessar scored a pair of goals in the second period, with Jon Danziger scoring the first. For the first time in recent memory, the Squirrels played with a full bench of 15 skaters. They also survived two Too Many Men penalties, with a third that went unnoticed by the refs. Nabil Allaoua, who has a league-best 1.14 GAA, made 11 saves in net.
