The Screaming Squirrels just couldn’t get their offense in gear Tuesday, getting a few solid chances but not capitalizing as a scoring binge late in the second lifted Stealthy Choice to a 6-1 win.
The Squirrels got off to an okay start. Bob Valdes scored on the power play in the first period, and despite giving up a goal early in the second, everything seemed rather even. But four goals in just under four minutes late in the second period did the Squirrels in.
