Jailbreak got the better of the Squirrels in their first two matchups of the season, but in the first of back-to-backs, the Squirrels built a three-goal lead and held on for a 3-2 win on Wednesday.
Brent Machado scored on the power play in the first period, then again early in the second. Tony Richelsen netted the third of the game in the third.
Jailbreak didn’t give up, scoring twice down the stretch, including in the last minute, but the Squirrels held on.
