The rink was slick but the Squirrels regained their form Tuesday, topping lowly Silver Spring 6-2.
Erik Diaz, Vince Cicala and Matt Ekinci scored in the first period, but Silver Spring pulled within one later in the period against Stu Miller, who played in net for the first time in about a year.
Charles Warner scored twice in the second, and Diaz added another.
