The Squirrels played Wolfe Pack for the third time in the past month, snapping a five-game losing streak against them in a 4-1 win. In fact, the Squirrels last beat Wolfe Pack in last summer’s championship game.
Scott Kronzek scored twice, Neil Shah had a gorgeous move which led to his second period goal, and Mario Constantinou scored on a power play to put the Squirrels up 4-0. Wolfe Pack scored a late goal to break up Craig Beatty’s shutout attempt.
The game wasn’t as ugly as the last Squirrels/Wolfe Pack outing, but one player got kicked out for Wolfe Pack in the third.
