The Squirrels lost a heartbreaker Sunday, taking multiple leads but giving up two third period goals which did them in.
Mario Constantinou, Scott Kronzek and Vivek Pinto each scored in the first period to give the Squirrels a 3-1 lead. The Ice Cocks caught up in the second period but Constantinou’s second goal put the Squirrels back ahead going into the third.
The Squirrels gave up an early goal, then another with a little more than a minute left.
The Squirrels outshot the Ice Cocks, 34-28.
