The Squirrels broke a three-game losing streak Sunday with a 6-1 win against the Laughing Skulls.
The game was even until the end of the first period when Dave Chung spring Jason Wolf for a breakaway. Wolf scored to give the Squirrels a 1-0 lead. The Squirrels opened the floodgates in the second period, with goals by Pat Reilly, Bob Valdes, and two by Mario Constantinou.
Craig Beatty’s shutout bid got spoiled late in the third period. Jason Wolf added a late goal.
