The Squirrels let the game get away from them on Sunday, as they gave up five consecutive goals after taking a 3-0 lead against the Laughing Skulls.
Tero Moberg scored only 1:40 into the game, and Rylan Gottran beat the buzzer at the end of the first period to give the Squirrels a 2-0 lead.
Jason Gustafson scored early in the second period to put the Squirrels up 3-0, but the Skulls scored the next three goals, then twice more in the third period.
Even then, the Squirrels still had plenty of chances, as they outshot the Skulls 36-26.
