Considering Blades of Steel had more than twice as many skaters as the Squirrels, the game was pretty close for nearly three periods Sunday, but Blades of Steel pulled away in the final moments for a 4-1 win.
Charles Warner scored first fir the Squirrels, the Blades of Steel notched two in the first period for a 2-1 lead. It would stay that way until there were less than four minutes remaining in the third, when the insurance goal went in. BoS added an empty netter after escaping the Squirrels pressure down the stretch.
