After losing the last couple of games against them, including in last season’s playoffs, the Squirrels played a solid game against Stealthy Choice on Wednesday, shutting them down in a 6-1 win. The Squirrels once again only had three subs on the bench.
Tony Richelsen scored twice in the first period, Neil Shah added a pair of goals, including one only two seconds into a power play, and somehow Bob Valdes had a goal and four assists. Brent Machado also scored.
The lone Stealthy Choice goal came almost immediately after a mid-ice faceoff.
