The Gardens Ice House looked at the standings after 5 games and decided to split the division, taking the top four teams and moving them up a level.
Little did they seem to care that three teams that had underperformed in the first five games were actually better than their records.
The Squirrels got a taste of this after losing 8-5 to the previously winless Cruisers, then got a full gut-punch with a 6-0 loss to Meltdown on Saturday.
The Squirrels, Wiley Gunters, Whalers and Jailbreak have all moved up to Bronze 1, leaving behind the Cruisers, Meltdown and Outsiders, all of which are arguably better teams.
