The Squirrels had a great first period, a so-so second period and a bad third period Tuesday, giving up three power play goals in a 6-4 loss to Jailbreak.
Defensemen Dan Bartock and Charles Wolstein scored in the first period, and the Squirrels almost had a few more due to an aggressive forecheck.
Tero Moberg and Neil Shah would score twice in the second period but Jailbreak scored three times, and the Squirrels took a 4-3 lead into the third period.
Jailbreak would score three unanswered, including two on the power play, and the Squirrels ran out of time for a late push.
