Outsiders 6, Squirrels 2

After sucking for most of this season, the Outsiders finally got all their ringers on the ice together Friday and gave the Squirrels a 6-2 beating.

While the Squirrels ended up with two goals – one by Scott Kronzek (pictured) on the power play in the first period, and one by Bob Valdes in the third – the Outsiders controlled most of the game, though they had a hard time staying out of the penalty box.

The loss knocked the Squirrels down to third place in the division, though both teams ahead of them right now had been moved up from the lower division after six games.
