The Squirrels got crushed Sunday, playing against first place and too-good-for-Bronze Howard County Heat, 11-2. The first period wasn’t so bad, though, as the Squirrels were only down 2-1, with one of the Heat’s goals coming off a lucky bounce along the boards that should’ve gone all the way around but instead came straight to a player in the middle.
