Outsiders 11, Squirrels 2
The Squirrels had a short bench and were outmatched by the Outsiders on Wednesday, falling 11-2. Despite that, the Squirrels kept the game close for the first nine minutes, going up 1-0 on Jason Wolf’s goal, before the floodgates opened. Scott Kronzek also scored for the Squirrels.
Laughing Skulls 3, Squirrels 2 (SO)
The Squirrels and the Laughing Skulls battled very much evenly for much of the game, even after the Squirrels took a 2-0 lead, but the Laughing Skulls tied it with two quick goals in the third period and prevailed in the shootout with a single goal.Continue reading
