The Squirrels got the summer season started out right with a 3-2 shootout victory against the defending champs, the Thundercats.
Playoffs: Thundercats 8, Squirrels 4
The first place Thundercats eliminated the Squirrels from the playoffs on Friday with an 8-4 victory.
Playoffs: Squirrels 7, Eagles 3
The Squirrels and the Eagles split their season series, 2-2, but the Eagles had been slipping lately and the last-place Squirrels walloped them, 7-3, in the first round of the playoffs.
