Though both teams only fielded eight skaters, the Screaming Squirrels got the best of the Cruisers on Friday, outshooting them and consistently picking their pockets en route to a 7-3 win.

The Screaming Squirrels suffered their first loss of the season Saturday, falling 7-4 to the Thundercats, as too many turnovers and penalties took a toll. Despite that, the Squirrels made it interesting by cutting a couple of four-goal deficits to two goals.
