Thundercats 12, Squirrels 4
The Squirrels had another rough game Thursday in a 12-4 walloping by the Thundercats. That said, the Squirrels did make it interesting in the first period, going down 2-0 quickly but scoring three straight in about three minutes as Tony Richelsen, Dave Chung and Bob Valdes each found the net. Richelsen added another goal in the second period but the game was out of reach by that point.
Bullets 10, Squirrels 6
The Squirrels had a few problems that they couldn’t overcome Saturday… a sub goalie and lack of depth on defense, as they fell to the shorthanded Bullets, 10-6. Despite that, the Squirrels still put up six goals on one of the better goalies in the league, as Scott Kronzek scored three goals, Geoff Grek scored twice and Bob Valdes had one.
Laughing Skulls 3, Squirrels 2
With only seven skaters, the Squirrels put up a valiant effort Monday, but ran out of gas in a 3-2 loss to the Laughing Skulls. Despite the loss, the Squirrels held a 2-0 first period lead and had plenty of chances to score down the stretch.
