The Squirrels fell to Wolfe Pack, 6-4 on Sunday. The Squirrels went down 2-0 early, but came back, then were down 5-2 and chipped their way back from that, only to give up a long empty netter.
The Squirrels dominated the Bronze 2b championship game Saturday, knocking out the top-seeded Wolfe Pack, 3-1.
The Squirrels demolished the first place Wolfe Pack on Sunday, pulling away in the third period for a 10-2 win.
Wolfe Pack got the better of the Squirrels on Sunday, winning 3-1. The Squirrels, however, kept the game competitive, having plenty of chances but failing to get the puck through until the third period, when new Squirrel Scott Kronzek scored his league-leading fourth goal of the season.
